a good tool recently recently for iphone / ipad developers allows for flash apps to be converted to iphone format. The only downside to this is encouraging flash developers to create quality and it does seem to promote lots of "shovelware"

well digital comic books have been available for a while, just the ipad has pushed them into previously closed eyes

although big Western companies like Marvel, DC and IDW are moving into Digital Comics more aggressively

I am sure they have been moving that way for a while ... they will be left in the dust otherwise

I think iPad digital comics will be very effective on a big screen

the iPhone OS allowed digital comics to be viewed panel by panel rather than page by page so it allows new way to enjoy them

absolutely ... MUCH better than on the phone or the smaller gaming devices

well I tried it on PSP and they just dropped the ball

and the iPad is so portable ... can even fit in a smallish handbag

it's like viewing a PDF comic

but frame by frame on iPad / iPod makes the artwork standout

yes, it does, although I have not used it.  Kindle is also very bad with books which contain diagrams ... cannot enlarge the diagrams to see the content properly, as you can on the iPad.

the battery life is very good on Kindle right? And with Whispernet always connected wifi

From a Biz perspective can Amazon afford to release yet another hardware iteration? They've released several in a short amount of time.

No ... I sense a collaboration of some sort ... their content delivered via Apple mobile apps

that could work, there is already a kindle app for iphone which points towards content being Amazon's primary focus rather than hardware
