Gorilla Reunion - Extraordinary encounter

Englishman Damian Aspinall has a quite extraordinary reunion in Africa with a gorilla he had reared at his zoo in England. Thy has not seen each other for 5 years. The gorilla was now fully grown with a family.



 

Saw a very dodgy copy of this a while ago...must say it is nice to see a copy of this quality...what an amazingly wonderful story....particularly the sight of the gorilla with his arms around Damien Aspinall, not wanting to let him go...

I don't know whether you have ever met Damian Aspinall, son of legendary John, but I reckon the Gorilla was the brave one! 

My grandmother was a regular at their casino along with a number of other establishments that resulted in the whole family being gifted life membership to the Park Tower Casino and the Knightbridge Sporting Club....sadly never met John Aspinal myself....will take it on advice though

the one thing it does prompt though is how sad it is that such a wonderful beast can have such a cose relationship broken by the desire to do the right thing in returning them to the wild....it is tinged with sadness

But nevertheless the right thing to do.
