Edited 2 Years ago

Following the disastrous remake of Godzilla in 1998

The property was left in a lead box somewhere to rot.

Great news for Sci-Fi movie fans, Legendary Pictures (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Hangover) acquired the rights and are now making a new movie schedule for release in 2012.

And as with all movies with loads of hype attached to them images have leaked from the set showing mock ups of the creature itself. And they look very impressive.

Nice find although it may a very good fan-made trailer, as the site is bogus. 2012 does seem to far away to get a movie that should have been done right the first time.

Yes unicronic, was not planning on duping you with this find!

That's cool, was not implying anything. YouTube has loads of well made fan trailers. I quote enjoy watching them, its builds the hype up and supports people with some creative interest.

I just hope it turns out well. The biggest problem in Hollywood and Corporate business is if an IP is licensed and it does not turn out well when remade they simply kill future plans and hold the license until it expires which can be sometimes 10 years. Because of this Godzilla was in limbo, no-one else could try their hand at it.
