Tony Abbott....has he got it or has Julia got his measure

Personally I believe Tony Abbotts only chance was against Kevin Rudd...and now he has gone his only chance is assylum seekers, school building fiasco, the handing out of $900 per person, which I never got as an economic policy and pink batts....other than those I fear the worst for our Tony

I reckon those specifics you detailed are definite Labor failures & therefore good for the Libs. But I think I agree that it's not enough.

In Labor's favour:

• They have a new broom even of that broom should accept personal blame for some of these fiascos
• The new broom is a woman
• is smart and articulate - with charm which Rudd clearly lacks
• is a team builder, not a despot
• it's almost unheard of for a first term Govt to fall at their first re-election. Doubly so when considering the size of the majority that needs over-turning
• Labor did a good job with our economy

Bad news for young Tony this am.....not a good Newspoll result and frankly she is coming out of the blocks well planned and very authoritatively....Tony definitley look like a challenger at this stage rather than a winner

Well, the election won't be fought on climate change as both parties have handled this so badly.

 

I don't get what their problem is...they both seem to be running so scared of it....it seems to me that it is going to be which party manages to get the greens preferences that is going to get this..because if they play this straight, they could be the big movers in this election...

Yes, Greens Prefs are going to be key.
