Twitter who recently acquired Tweetie for Mac is apparently in talks to buy TweetDeck, one of the major Twitter applications on the market!

Interesting Geek. Must be a numbers game. What I mean by that is they (Twitter) are after their users rather than the technology. Do you know how many they have? TweetDeck? Versus Twitter's 200 million.

Also interesting:
"Far smaller firms too have been attracting big sums. Color, a loss-making photo sharing app, recently raised $41m from venture capital investors. Quora, a question and answers website set up by two former Facebook employees, has been valued at $86m."

TweetDeck never revealed its number of users. However, its Chrome application is the most popular Google Chrome app with over 400,000 users (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/list/most_popular_apps?hl=en-US).

Also, apparently almost 15% of Twitter users using a non-official Twitter client are using Tweetdeck:

For this comment, I really think there is a bubble coming on. Valuations are way too high, especially for Color.
