I need to write an image upload program for sharing screenshots

There are a few things that do that well

Jing is one

I inherently mistrust image hosting services

I want that screenshot to be at the same URL in 10 years

Jing isn't an image hosting service per say...

nobody will pay for web stats anymore (except the very high end stuff for big business), so it actually cost more to run than it earned the past 2-3 years

I think Chrome will excel more at a new range of limited used devices. CrunchPad would be a good example.
