*thinks* You know... I can't remember it, although I've watched it more than thrice at least.... Just gonna have to watch it again!
The trailer is in French but it still captures the atmosphere
Morning unicronic.
Sadly Ringu 2 and the Ring 0 were not up to par
Yeah... but still not too bad.
Morning Alex, do you have some fave horror movies for Halloween
Have you seen this?
yes, it was ok. Japan has run into innovators block with horror currently.
I think Thailand has the ball right now
I saw a movie called Phobia 2, a sequel which consists of 5 ghost stories. Each one fresh and very scary

This one is my fav. It's one of the few that really really scared me. Crazy suspense built in
Is Phobia 2 Thai?
AH
Yup
Dark Water was very good, yes
Oooh Phobia 2 looks good! Gonna have to get my hands on that
unicronic. I have a horror movie chromosome missing. Tamsin laughs as she tries to get me to watch horror stuff but I can't. Tried watching some movie the other day (OK not strictly horror) where some men brought back from the moon some human flesh eating alien insects and I almost passed out.
Sounds interesting. You remember the title or did you not make it past the opening credits?
Title didn't look too bad. I thought it was a doco about evolution.
Alex, you'd have to avoid anything on this list then![]()

heheh
Meanwhile, I'm gonna go out of my way to source a place which rents these out. Too many I haven't seen. This has to been rectified!
My mother, back in the 70's, went to see Alien thinking it was a Star Trekky movie. Ooooops.
Yup, wouldn't be happy with anything on Dek's list.
LOL @ Alex *and* unicronic!
How did she react uni?
She ran out during the "birth" scene
y'know when the Alien bursts out of someones stomach
I do think that Asian horror right now has the edge on atmosphere and scares
hahahaha
The last horror movie from the West that really got under my skin was probably Saw
Hasn't it always been though? I can't think of one scary Hollywood film
My German grandmother living in London took herself to see Last Tango in Paris with Marlon Brando in 1974. She thought it was a movie about dancing. She told my father she sat through the film including the bit where Brando does something interesting with butter because she thought it was the 'B' movie before the main feature.
given the psychological nature of it
Yikes, Brando and butter did it also involve Toast?
Oh yeah, Saw.... I didn't find it horrific. More....violent than anything else
Egad Alex!
I saw it a long time ago. It scarred my mind
That was before Brando became larger than life
Well then you would know not a good place to put toast.
Perhaps he would eat the buttered toast during
If you want to see some less scary more gory horror movies over Halloween check out Slither
Slither? Reminds me of Snakes on a Plane, or Anaconda
It's about alien worms. Not quite as silly as I made it sound. Got a good cast and that borderline action/horror atmosphere
alternatively check out Dog Soldiers
No borderline stuff! Either movies that scare the living bejeesas outta you, or nothing!![]()
