I was browsing through random late night show clips on YouTube, and after a while it suddenly hit me - There aren't any women hosts on US late night tv!

We only get David Letterman here (on Aussie fta), so I looked into it, and each channel over there has at least one of these programs. Conan O'Brian, David Letterman, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Jay Leno..... All men!

Why aren't there any female hosts? There are female comedians out there who are as funny as these guys. What's stopping the networks from giving at least one a show?

You have a point on comedy. Current affairs is better served by both sexes - atleast in the US, UK and Aus.
