Facebook's 'Live feed' - I don't get it. Do you?

So I go into Facebook today, and my News feed is showing stuff from yesterday. I was like - what, everyone's having a quiet day? *confused*

And then I saw a thing call 'Live Feed' and it was showing all my friends' updates for today.

So I guess this is something new they released. But why? I don't see it's purpose.

Has anyone figured it out yet?

Hmmm... I just had a look again, and now the news and live feed are showing pretty much the same thing.

Arrrrrggghhhh What is this?!?!?!

And the recommendations have gone all nuts as well!! They're now bugging me to write on people's walls! EGAD!

haha !!! They just tried to get back to the old version of Facebook, e.g. showing everything your friends are doing (adding other friends, changing their relationship status...).

Don't get the point of having the two different feeds as the live feed covers everything and we can still use some filters if there is too much information.

Indeed, the recommendations are nuts !!! Love the "This person is new on Facebook, write on his wall"^^

Plus ca changes, c'est la meme chose.

Also, the Live feed is not really "live" as you have to refresh your page to get new updates

Aww man, that wall recommendation thing is driving me nuts. I just hate seeing it.

And yes, that's why I'm confused. Why call something 'Live' when you have to refresh it? Which also makes it just the same as it was before.

FB is losing the plot surely

Never really liked Mark Zuckerberg, always seen him as someone who wanted to earn money rather than on improving his service.. Don't get the point of this "Live Feed" too.
